Welcome to Nexera

What we're building, who it's for, and why the kickoff call is a thirty-minute listen.

If you have read one AI consulting pitch, you have read most of them. They promise transformation, a roadmap, and a deck. What they rarely promise is a tool your team actually uses next Tuesday.

That is the line Nexera is built on. We are an AI consulting firm in New York working with small and mid-sized businesses across construction, real estate, PR, and professional services. The work is not strategy theater. It is finding the one or two places where AI saves your team real hours, building the thing that does it, and staying until it sticks.

We read the workflow before we touch a prompt

Most AI projects fail for an unglamorous reason. The tool was built for a workflow nobody actually has. So we start by watching how the work really moves through your business: who touches what, where the time leaks, which steps everyone quietly dreads. The prompt comes after. An AI built from your real process gets it right far more often than one built from a guess.

What an engagement looks like

Short sprints, not open-ended retainers. Walkthroughs you can follow, not status decks. We feed the tool your real numbers and your real language, start it on low-stakes work where mistakes are cheap, and keep a human on the one step that cannot be taken back. By the time it touches a customer, you already trust what it hands back.

We ship, or we tell you plainly why we should not. That second part is rarer than it sounds, and it is most of why clients stay.

Who this is for

A small team. A real workflow. An operator who is tired of hearing about AI without ever seeing it ship. If that is you, the construction estimator drowning in quote requests, the agency lead rebuilding the same proposal every week, the founder paying for five tools nobody owns, this is written for you.

Start with a thirty-minute call

The first call is not a pitch. It is a listen. You walk us through where the work piles up, and we tell you, honestly, whether AI is the right fix or whether you would be wiring a robot to a problem a checklist could solve. Sometimes the answer is no. When it is yes, you leave with a clear first move, not a contract you feel cornered into.

Everything else on this page is the work itself, written up as we go. The patterns that ship, the patterns that fail, and the math behind both. Start here, then read whatever is new.

Want one of these every other week?

Field notes from active Nexera engagements. No newsletter theater, no growth-hacks. Drop a line on a 30-min consult and we will add you to the rare-send list.
